EA Shift to Much Better Game with Shift

Need for Speed: Shift is how the EA repent their mistake on Need for Speed: Undercover. They give the job for Shift to Slightly Mad Studios. And, this is a good decision.

Slightly Mad tweak many aspects in this game and create a really good racing game. They improve the quality of graphic a lot. Moreover, the reality aspect of this game is really improved. So, you will feel like you drive the real car.

The Shift edition gives us really great experiences. And, EA doesn’t stop with just that. They also release Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010), which become one of the problematic racing game for this series.

Need for Speed: Carbon is indeed a masterpiece. Unfortunately, EA can keep its greatness on Need for Speed: Undercover.

Undercover also can be said as the Pro Street sequel. And, it seems EA didn’t learn from the failed of Pro Street. They still keep the no exploring feature on this game. Moreover, it’s so slow to just open the map to choose the event that we want to enter.

The Undercover graphic is really beautiful. But, the failed development of its feature and gameplay put this edition into our failed list. Thankfully, EA made a good decision on the next series, Need for Speed: Shift.
